Grey overcast morning leaving Pamplona but no rain and not too cold. 

   

  

  

 Through a couple of small villages and gentle climbs. 

   
 Highlight of the day was the metal statues of pilgrims on the ridge with the line of wind turbines.  

 From the ridge you could see the days ahead should be flatter- and could see the villages ahead.

    

  

  
Weather got brighter this afternoon. Forecast is to get warmer during the week. 

Saw first vines and olive trees- evidence Ive left the mountainous region behind and was heading into more mediterrainian climate. 

     

Some festival going on in the small town of Obanos. 

      

Down through a few villages into Puente la Reine- named for the beautiful bridge over the Rio Arga.
