Very wet day ahead. Thunder and rain all night and still going on.    Wet weather gear today

    Up some gentle hills today – reminder of what’s to come in a few days.   Rivers of red silt coming down the paths.    

 Little shack with refreshments in the middle of isolated spot. No one there today – quite disappointed.   
  View over Astorga from this last hill was beautiful but the picture doesn’t do it justice. Still raining with thunder.    I’ll get the last drop of wine out of that bottle!  Staying here tonight. Room beautiful till I’d spread my wet clothes around  to dry off.   Gaudies bishops palace.   

After a week of wearing my trail running shoes (trainers) my blisters are finally healed and just as well – had to wear my merrils today as so wet.
