It was about 11.30 before the sun burnt through and we had beautiful blue skies again. 
Reached Pedrouzo about 2.30 after 3 coffee breaks in bars in hamlets on the way.

PS to Bill – probably won’t do the burning of clothes thingy cos not sure of Ryanair policy re naked pilgrims – but will definitely go to coast – after being defumigated by giant incense burner in the cathedral (apparently early pilgrims smelt pretty diabolical and were usually disease-ridden. Don’t think we’re quite that bad, but having been among pilgrims for so long maybe we just don’t notice any more)

can’t believe we get to Santiago tomorrow. Feel quite excited. There’s been ups and downs, literal and metaphorical, but arriving will feel real special! Boots and bones rather frayed now, but being a pilgrim has been a tremendous experience. Have absolutely loved everyone’s comments – thanks all. Will no doubt bore you with plenty more detail in due course. Lots of people stories re fellow pilgrims that didn’t make it into blog…
