Very windy this morning – first time I’ve worn my fleece. 3/4 hour walking to  Vilamayor del Río 

but I didn’t  like the look of the bar so carried on another 1 1/4 hours to Belorado. Well deserved breakfast of standard tostada, cafe con leche, and zumo de naranja. 

Another coffee a half hour later at Tosantos. Getting warmer so fleece  off. 

Getting a few light showers as approached Villambistia-so resisted another coffee as 1 1/2 hours to go.

Then it started raining heavier but fortunately stopped half hour before arriving Villifranca so dried off by the time I arrived. 

The only building in town that doesn’t look in serious state of repair is the church, and 1 expensive private hotel.  I wasn’t staying there, I was in very adequate truckers stop bar/ pension. 

Rain absolutely bouncing down this evening and lots of Thunder. Glad I’m not out there now.
