Beautiful start to the day. Blue skies. River looked much better in high tide with mud and marsh covered.

Early walking along boardwalk over marsh area. Breakfast in next town area- very busy where I was staying so didn’t want to wait.

Do you ever just wish for a sign. 

Couldn’t miss that.

Second breakfast in Fene. Just a snack and to get a stamp (sello) on my official pilgrim card -given an orange juice shot!!

Beginning to feel my age!

Then uphill over the headland to the next estuary. Through some wooded areas but never far from houses or traffic noise. 
First site of Vilar do Colo which I thought was going to be a small village with a cafe. Turned out to be major road intersection at top of hill with industrial park and like a motorway service station. 

More wooden area on way down to Cabanas. 

Beautiful beach to walk along.

And to get out of the sun had to have a beer and ham croquettes. 

Just along the beach the bridge goes to Pontedeume – my hotel right at the end of it.

After shower and rest wandered round town. Busy little place lots of bars in plazas
