Set off earlish (just gone 7) to avoid the heat. Sun just coming up across main square.

Long uphill climb out of town again 

Lots little ups and downs but nothing major. Lots of tarmac roads but only saw half dozen cars all day. 

Only saw one other pair of walkers.

The shaded areas were great but by 12.00 the paths had little shade and uncomfortably hot

By 1.30 too hot to enjoy. This section is often done as 28km but the last 10km are very steep and the greatest height gain for the whole way. So arranged taxi from CasaJulia to take me back to Betanzos for the night. 18km long enough for today. Plan is to take taxi back in morning to where I left off or depending how I feel in morning and temperature predictions probably get dropped off at top of hill.
