Spent 5 1/2 hours walking the start of the meseta to Hornillos del Camino – many people miss out the meseta which starts just after Burgos and goes on till just after León. Big mistake I think- so quiet and open. Too quiet for some perhaps .

Staying at a gem of an alburgue Hornillos meeting point- run by brother and sister. Reviews of paella are good- well look forward to that tonight.
