Expecting temperatures to reach 29 degrees this afternoon so set off 7.30 as soon as it was a little light. Very misty for an hour before sun burnt through.

Took pictures roughly every half hour till we reached Hornillos for 2nd breakfast.

Hornillos suddenly appears in the valley below the wheat fields above

The ruins of San Anton span the road.

Castrojerez lies an hour along very straight road below ruin of castle on hill above. Arrived 13.00 hours. Time for beer and siesta.
