Beautifull sunny day with long shadows showing the way west this morning at7.30

  

Several small hilltop villages today- approaching Maneru with its water fountain 

  

Little shade today. The woodland paths of the Pyrenees are behind.

Before the steady climb up toLorca.  

Long hot paths – reached 20 degrees approaching Villatuerta with its  old bridge.     

  Another long path 4km to finally reach Estella.

Lots of activity in town tonight – a festival or holy day tomorrow! Loud music in the square and apparently a show of young bulls jumping hurdles in the Bull ring so I’ve been told. Too tired to go back down to town this evening. The Spanish don’t start things till late.
