Set off at 7am – a lot of low mist sound but warm. Stopped after an hour for breakfast in Rabe de las Calzadas.   Long gentle climb up onto meseta – very quiet again today.  

 These 2 below soon shot ahead of me then I didn’t see anyone, apart from cyclists for an hour and half.        

Mist began to lift as decended to village of Hornillos. Had to stop for a drink.     Deserted paths again for a couple of hours.    

 Then Hontanas came into view in a small valley. Time for lunch.     

Then another 8km till Castojeriz 

Temperature now 29 degrees and it’s 3pm and I’m done in for the day. New worse blisters today.
