Up early off at 6.30 to meet Jenny at Ponferrada. Light rain but forecast for heavy rain and lightening later 
Beautiful walking down hill all the way today. However some of the path on bedrock which was slippery in the rain 
Ponferrada in distance 
Molinesca first.

Narrow streets lined with bars
Nearing Ponferrada after 3hours walking but another hour to go 
Met Jenny at station and had lunch in cafe here Infront of Knights Templar castle.

Great to see Jenny! Also good to see that Spain is sharing our stormy drizzly weather. Matt is on his D of E practise weekend and, of course our school fair yesterday, in the steady grey rain, plus ca change plus c’est la meme chose! Wishing you less cloud and well fitting boots xx
