Brian arrived last night and we introduced him to the pilgrim menu in the old town. 

 He was eager to go this morning   Sarria was under low cloud this morning    

   Jenny was still sporting her shades!  Very much busier with pilgrims from Sarria. Passed by coachloads  After quite a bit of climbing this morning the sun came through and bright blue skies.     Busker was playing bagpipes     Jenny showing of her new sandles (and socks) at 100km marker              Very hot getting into Portomarin 31 degrees –   These steps into town were almost last straw – but we made it.  Brian had gone ahead earlier to get an Albergue bed. We met him at top of these stairs – he’d already showered changed and done his washing…..!
