8.15 start – looking good as we passed the university heading out of Pamplona .

Perfect walking weather. Couple of hours till first cafe . There were previous ones but I wasn’t allowed to stop. 

Then onward and upward.

Before decending the other side of ridge to Uterga.Arrived 13.15 just as it was getting uncomfortably warm to walk. 

Hour and half later after a quick drink and bocadillo at Hostal Camino del Perdon we were driven 300 m to our accommodation in a new self contained house -all bedrooms on suite- view from our bedroom terrace.
