Last days walking the Camino this year. Sad and glad. Pleased to be going home tomorrow- I want be walking to coop or anywhere soon. But sad to not be going further. After Burgos the next stage would be the meseta – a more open landscape again. And it feels more remote.
But anyway off I set this morning. The path turned left after this building on edge of town.
Then the path went up over the ridge.


From the top of the ridge(after45minutes walking) could see Burgos sprawled in the plain below. 4 hours walking along country roads to get there.
Lunch on plaza in front of the cathederal. Not Santiago cathedral this time but a Fitting place to finish this stage.
